Welcome to the homepage of the Allgemeine Land- und Seespedition GmbH (ALS Ltd.). When we started our business in the year 1988 with only 10 employees and the demand for a "small, fine conveyance" on 6,500 m² in Duisburg parallel port (Parallelhafen) we couldn't anticipate which progress our company would take. Now, 21 years later, we are a medium-sized enterprise, having evolved through internal growth only into an inherent part of Duisburg harbour. Today, ALS employs a staff of 60 people and operates at the locations Duisburg (Parallelhafen) and Bottrop an area of more than 80,000 m² with 7 crane-installations, various storage halls and a world-wide operative international forwarding department. This rapid progress was mainly possible through the immense commitment of all employees and their ability to work as a team. Another important reason for our success has been and is the premium quality of our services, tailored to the needs of our customers. This important business objective is a fundamental part of our quality management, and thus it has not changed until today. Only if we succeed in realising more than satisfactory results for you, our (potential) customer, have we performed our work, providing a solid basis for the future.
